Addleshaw Goddard

Addleshaw Goddard entered the Polish market in 2025 following its acquisition of Linklaters' Warsaw office. Daria Wojciechowska, Aleksandra Czubek, and Szymon Sieniewicz are among the lawyers who joined Addleshaw Goddard as a result of the deal. Sieniewicz leads its IP practice.

Bird & Bird

Bird & Bird's IP team in Poland is recommended for contentious and non-contentious IP work. Partner Piotr Dynowski leads its IP/TMT practice. Another notable IP practitioner in the firm is partner Marta Koremba, who is also experienced in brand protection and management. Both partners are supported by a team of associates. 

DLA Piper

DLA Piper has an experienced team in Poland for IP work, especially IP disputes. Ewa Kurowska-Tober leads the IP practice. She can advise on copyright-related matters in the TMT sectors. Another key figure at the firm is counsel Krystian Maciaszek.

DWF

The Manchester-headquartered law firm DWF acquired K&L Gates' Polish legal business in May 2019. That deal marked DWF's first acquisition since it became a publicly-listed law firm on the London Stock Exchange in March 2019. K&L Gates was known for its trade mark and copyright practice in Poland. Oskar Tulodziecki leads its IP department. He is supported by a team of associates, notably Michał Ziółkowski.

FGGH IP

FGGH IP was established in August 2023 by four former JWP practitioners: Piotr Godlewski, Alicja Kicińska-Fujawa, Helena Gajek and Iwona Płodzich-Hennig. 

JWP

IP firm JWP is highly recommended for IP protection and disputes work. The firm also has litigators who are experienced in representing clients in courts. Dorota Rzazewska is the firm's managing partner. She is supported by senior practitioners such as Tomasz Grucelski. 

Kochański & Partners

Kochański & Partners is recommended for its trade mark work but it can also advised on other IP matters. Head of IP Karolina Marciniszyn is very experienced in trade marks. She is supported by name partner Piotr Kochański.

LSW Leśnodorski Ślusarek & Partners

LSW Leśnodorski Ślusarek & Partners was recognised for copyright & related rights work when the firm had an IP team led by IP Stars Maciej Ślusarek and Maciej Kubiak. Both practitioners left the firm in June 2022 to set up their own law firm.

IP firm Patpol is one of the two oldest and most active IP agencies in Poland. The firm is widely respected for its IP prosecution and portfolio management services. Patpol Legal, part of Patpol Group, handles disputes and enforcement work.  

Izabella Dudek-Urbanowicz serves as managing partner. Joanna Piłka is in charge of the trade mark and design department, assisted by Aleksandra Kryśka, deputy head of trade mark. Magdalena Tagowska heads the patent department and is supported by Dariusz Świerczyński, who is the deputy head of patent.  

Polservice

Polservice is one of the oldest IP agencies in Poland. The firm is highly recommended for IP protection work. Its patent attorneys specialise in various technical fields, most notably chemistry, life sciences and mechanical engineering. The firm’s senior leaders are Anna Stopińskalefarska, Bartosz Krakowiak and Wojciech Marciniak. Paweł Wac, who is dual qualified, heads the trade mark practice with co-head Sławomir Mazur. Alicja Rogozińska and Andrzej Rosa lead the patent practices

SKP Ślusarek Kubiak Pieczyk

SKP Ślusarek Kubiak Pieczyk is a new law firm which entered the Polish market in July 2022. The firm was set up by a team of IP/TMT lawyers, from LSW Leśnodorski Ślusarek & Partners, led by IP Stars Maciej Ślusarek and Maciej Kubiak. The team is best known for copyright and related rights work.

Sulima Grabowska Sierzputowska

Sulima Grabowska Sierzputowska is recommended for IP protection and management work. Managing partners Iwona Sierzputowska and Malgorzata Grabowska are the key contacts for patent work. Sierzputowska specialises in pharmaceutical, chemical and biotechnology patent work while Grabowska is experienced in mechanical, civil engineering and electronics patent work. Traple Konarski Podrecki & Partners

Traple Konarski Podrecki & Partners is respected by rivals in IP disputes, but it is also recommended for non-contentious IP work, including IP transactions and trade mark protection. The senior partners now leading the firm are TMT specialist Xawery Konarski and IP litigator Paweł Podrecki. They are supported by IP partners such as Anna Sokołowska-Ławniczak and copyright specialist Agnieszka Schoen and a team of junior lawyers. Sokołowska-Ławniczak, who is a patent attorney, oversees its brand protection practice.
