Anders has extensive experience with drafting and prosecuting patent applications, assessing patent portfolios in due diligence processes, as well as litigation and settlement discussions. Starting in IP in 2004, Ander’s career has seen him acting as a trusted advisor to a wide variety of clients, from tech-start-ups to large multinationals. Anders joined Zacco in 2021 as a Team Manager for the Digitalisation Team in Copenhagen, but previously held positions as European Patent Attorney, Team Manager and Board Member at another well-known Scandinavian patent firm.
Anders has also worked in-house as an EPA for Tetra Pak, where he gained hands-on experience of patent litigation in both German and US courts. Anders’ education has taken him across Europe and he now holds a European Patent Litigation Certificate (2019) from Politecnico di Milano and a Master of Science in Engineering Physics from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University.
Anders started his career as a development engineer and he has always had a special interest in emerging technology, being a named inventor on a selection of patents of his own. This curiosity has led him to work with patents in some of the most exciting technological growth areas of recent years including computer implemented inventions, artificial intelligence, Machine Learning, IOT and computer vision.
His passion for IP and technological advancement has encouraged his support and assistance within several interesting projects exploring how AI can be used within the field of patents and applications. One of these includes acting as Supervisor and Mentor to several Masters students, where he advised on some IP-related areas of their Thesis.
