Maria Łozińska is a Polish patent and trademark attorney. She is also a professional representative before the EU Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). She joined POLSERVICE in 2007.  Since 2019 Maria is a Co-Head of the Patent Team I and in 2021 she has been elected as the member of the firm’s Supervisory Board.

She specializes in matters related to the grant and maintenance of patents for inventions in the field of mechatronics, mechanics, optics and biomedical engineering.

Maria advises clients on litigation matters, prepares a strategy and negotiates the terms and conditions of settlement agreements in cases concerning patent and utility model infringements. She also assists clients in building a strategy for protecting their solutions.

Since 2016, she has been a member of Polish  National Group of the Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).

Maria Łozińska graduated from the Faculty of Mechatronics at the Warsaw University of Technology. She completed studies at the Institute of Automatic Control and Robotics of the Faculty and is specialized in biocybernetics and biomedical engineering.

She also completed post-graduate studies at the Industrial Property Law Department of the University of Warsaw.

Maria participated in the internship at the European Patent Office in Munich. She is also a member of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys.

Maria gained practical research experience, amongst others, at the Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology and at the University of Twente in the Netherlands where she participated in project works on foetal magnetocardiography apparatus. She also worked as a clinical engineer in an eye surgery clinic.
