Marissa Lasso de la Vega Ferrari is a Partner at the firm and Head of the Intellectual Property Department (Trademarks, Patents, Designs, Domain, Copyright) and the Consumer Protection and Privacy practice group.

Marissa has an extensive practice participated in many national and international seminars and courses. She has experience working in legal opinions and in litigation on trademark, patent, unfair competition, trade dress protection, copyright and misleading advertising cases.

Marissa has been instrumental in creating and developing in Panama the Alliance between private and public sector and a campaign against illicit trade: public and private alliance against smuggle, piracy and counterfeiting.

She is actually the President of Panamanian Association of Intellectual Property (APADEPI); the Chair of the Panamanian Alliance against Illicit Trade (CAMARA DE COMERCIO) and the Chair of the IAPP KnowledgeNet in Panama City. 

Marissa Lasso de la Vega Ferrari is a Professor at Santa Maria La Antigua University of Intellectual Property course.
