Ada is a supervising associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department in Hong Kong.
Ada has worked on a range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters including trademark prosecution and enforcements, and the intellectual property aspects of corporate transactions and commercial arrangements. She advises on intellectual property matters including trademark, copyright, unfair competition, trade names, online infringements, domain names, licensing, advertising and product labeling laws in Hong Kong and China. She has advised both local and international brands on strategies for securing intellectual property protection prior to market entry in Hong Kong / China and has managed brand portfolios for clients in different sectors including the aviation, finance, real estate, gaming, consumer electronics, cosmetics, entertainment, food and beverage, luxury and fashion and media industries.
Ada has worked in Beijing, Shanghai and Tokyo prior to joining the firm, which gave her a rounded picture of the area. Ada thinks carefully about each client’s specific business position and interest, and offers creative legal solutions to suit.
Ada was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2016. She works in Cantonese, Mandarin, English and Japanese.
