Delicia Clarke is a solicitor in the Litigation team. Delicia is an experienced patent litigator and strategic advisor focussing on the pharma and biotech industries. She has a strong technical background, having spent several years working as a post-doctoral research neuroscientist at The Babraham Institute in Cambridge before becoming a solicitor.
Delicia has advised clients in many areas of the life sciences sector, with expertise ranging from small molecule pharmaceuticals (including litigating formulation, second medical use and dosage regimen patents) to biologics (therapeutic antibodies) to medical devices to consumer products. Delicia has experience litigating before all courts in the UK, including the UK IPO, Patents Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. She also has experience of the UK’s Shorter Trial Scheme for patent cases, EPO patent prosecution, and litigating patent validity and infringement at the UPC.
