Julien Blanchard is a partner at Plasseraud IP Avocats, specializing in Intellectual Property Law. With nearly 30 years of experience in IP advisory and litigation, he has developed a recognized international expertise in all areas related to trademark law, design law, copyright law, particularly for clients in the fashion and luxury sectors, as well as in perfumery, cosmetics, and design. He also advises major clients in the banking, insurance, and retail sectors. Julien has built a renowned practice in the areas of unfair competition and parasitism. He taught intellectual property law for many years at the University of Paris-Dauphine and now lectures in the Master's program in Intellectual Property Law at the University of Lyon 2. He also publishes an annual column on anti counterfeiting seizures in the journal Communication Commerce Electronique. Admitted to the Paris Bar in 1998, Julien began his career at a law firm where he became a partner five years later, before founding the law firm Candé-Blanchard-Ducamp in 2013. He is currently a member of APRAM (Association of Practitioners of Trademark and Design Law), AAPI (Association of Intellectual Property Lawyers), and INTA (International Trademark Association).
