With 15 years' experience in Intellectual Property, Ágata’s background includes providing strategic advice to national and international businesses for the protection and enforcement of their intellectual property assets.
Ágata also conducts judicial litigation regarding patents and assists in negotiating and drafting agreements and transactions in a broad range of sectors, including technology, life sciences and artificial intelligence.
Her current activities focus on the pharma and biotech industry and has been involved in important court cases, in particular in the defence of pharmaceutical and biotechnology patents and Supplementary Protection Certificates of major pharmaceutical companies.
She has also a strong experience in "Soft IP" strategic cases, notably advising media, retail, food and beverage and fashion sectors on their copyright, trademark and design matters.
She is the author of various texts and articles on intellectual property and participates as a speaker at seminars on aspects of intellectual property.
