Chad is a specialist in international portfolio management, with expertise in supporting clients to achieve their brand aims in markets around the world.
Chad has practiced both in-house and as a trusted external counsel. His current practice focuses on multi-jurisdictional trade mark portfolios and encompasses the strategy behind portfolio creation, brand clearance, protection and enforcement.
Chad works with our trade mark portfolio experts across the Rouse Network and strategic partners, with a particular focus on South East Asia, to deliver commercial and practical advice and analysis to clients in-market and approaching from other jurisdictions.
Apart from advising on portfolio management and general IP strategies, Chad has experience in a range of media and digital issues in developing markets, including strict legal and regulatory compliance as well as more practical concerns such as brand awareness on social media and cultural sensitivity in advertising.
Prior to joining our global team in Hong Kong SAR, Chad was Country Manager of our UAE office, and Global Head of our Media, Advertising and Digital practice.
