Emilio is a patent engineer specialized in the fields of chemistry, industrial chemistry and materials engineering. He is involved in patent drafting, translation, filing and prosecution of patent application of domestic and foreign clients in Argentina and Latin America. In addition, he performs prior art searches and delivers analysis and opinions on patentability.

Emilio graduated with honors as a Chemical Engineer from ITBA and as a Process and Environment Engineer from INSA Toulouse (France). Subsequently, he received a grant from CONICET and completed a PhD in Engineering at ITBA. In 2018, he obtained the CEIPI Diploma with mentions in both “Patents” and “Trademarks and Industrial Designs”.

Since 2009, Emilio is an Adjunct Professor in the subjects of Transport Phenomena, Thermodynamics and Mathematical Modeling in Chemical Engineering at ITBA, also participating in research and technology transfer projects. Moreover, Emilio has published in international high impact journals and participated in international conferences in the field of chemical reactor engineering.

Currently, he serves in AIPLA’s Chemical Practice and IP Practice in Latin America committees. He is also observer of AIPPI’s Patent Committee. Since 2019, he has been invited by CEIPI to lecture on intellectual property in Argentina.
