Gregor König is a partner in HOFFMANN EITLE's Biotechnology practice group and focuses on patent infringement and nullity proceedings before national courts and the UPC. In more than 30 years of professional experience as a patent attorney, Mr König has been involved in numerous cases that have made legal history (including Olanzapine, Pemetrexed, Humira, Tadalafil and Factor VIII) and was involved in the first major pharmaceutical cases before the UPC.
In an article on Gregor König entitled "A lateral thinker", JUVE wrote: "His speciality is to rethink arguments". JUVE further stated that he is "one of the most sought-after patent attorneys, regardless of the court".
He advises industry and SMEs in complex national and international patent disputes, as well as in litigation avoidance and the strategic structuring of patent portfolios.
Gregor studied biology at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and the Université Paris Sud. He is a lecturer at the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and a certified representative before the UPC (University of Maastricht).
