Jenny has worked with intellectual property since 2008, joining Zacco in 2019 after working in private practice with two other Swedish IP firms.
Her academic background includes an MSc in Engineering Biology and a Ph.D in Applied Physics, both of which provide her with a grounded academic understanding when working with cases of incredible technical complexity. She has also spent time working as a temporary in-house patent counsel within the automotive industry as well as at a research institute. She combines this background with her extensive practical and technical expertise to explore how much of the IP she works with will eventually be used in practice, making her a proficient advisor on patentable features and potential commercial viability.
She primarily assists clients with the drafting and prosecution of both national and international patent applications as well as providing general IP strategy advice. Such clients include start ups, SMEs, multinationals and research institutions across a range of both traditional and emerging technologies, from Medtech, Life Sciences and Chemistry to Green Tech, Materials, Renewable Energy and Mechanical Engineering, among others.
She is a European Patent Attorney and an Authorized Patent Attorney (Sweden) as well as a member of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (EPI).
Education/Alumni: Ph.D., M.Sc.
Network Memberships: Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (EPI)
