Michal is the team leader of the entertainment practice at HAVEL & PARTNERS, overseeing a team of 10 professionals, making it the largest entertainment law team in the Czech Republic. Specializing in TMT, gaming, film, music, and e-commerce law, Michal provides comprehensive legal guidance on technology-related matters, including artificial intelligence, digital services, and video games.
Michal is also deeply involved in handling acquisitions and sales of technology assets, as well as structuring relationships in the IT sector, where he has successfully closed dozens of transactions.
Michal's expertise also extends to copyright and media law, with extensive experience in film and television law. He regularly advises international studios, broadcasters, financiers, distributors, and operators on Czech law, providing authoritative guidance across the Czech entertainment industry.
Michal is a regularly published author in the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA) Bulletin and a member of the Video Game Bar Association (VGBA). His contributions to the field of intellectual property law have been consistently recognized by Managing IP, earning him a Rising Star ranking.
