Obianuju is Manager on IP and Technology Law at MTN Nigeria. MTN Group Ltd. is one of the largest mobile network operators in the world and the largest in Africa. With over 14 years of experience in commercial and IP law, Obianuju worked for two of the top law firms in Nigeria as an IP Counsel and as a Senior Associate. She has experience helping businesses understand IP value, navigate IP risks, and acquire the requisite knowledge to optimise their interests and commercial opportunities. With a focus on Trademarks, Brand Protection and Anti-Counterfeiting Obianuju also worked to protect IP and technology assets, nurture agreements and relationships from inception through to closure, and advise on how to hedge against IP and technology risk/exposure. Enjoying a long experience of IP litigation, Obianuju is an IP Prosecutor and IP infringement specialist with deep knowledge and expertise in anti-counterfeiting and brand protection.
