Mr. Berrin advises on all aspects of brand protection including intellectual property licensing, domestic and foreign trademark prosecution and enforcement, copy right protection, and anti-counterfeiting enforcement. Mr. Berrin has published two articles in the intellectual property quarterly magazine, New Matter, entitled Does the Disparagement Test Make Sense and Is the Provision Constitutional? and Registration of a Performing Artist’s Gesture under Federal Trademark Law. He is also the founder of the Cannabis, Alcohol, and Regulated Industries Barrister’s Section for the Bar Association of San Francisco, and currently sits on the San Francisco Intellectual Property Law Association (SFIPLA) advisory board.
Mr. Berrin received his J.D. with a concentration in intellectual property from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York and a B.A. in Communication from the University of San Francisco. A native San Franciscan, Mr. Berrin devotes his time as a volunteer to community-driven, non-profit organizations.
