Villy Davilla joined Dr. Helen G. Papaconstantinou and Partners (“HP&P”) in 2018, having previously worked in intellectual property from 2006 to 2014. After a couple of years dedicated to corporate law, she returned to her IP roots. Villy is a qualified lawyer and a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2011.

She holds a law degree from the University of Athens and a postgraduate degree in International Trade and Commercial Law from the University of Durham. Additionally, she successfully completed the first edition of the EUIPO Trade Mark and Design Education Programme (ETMD EP). Since September 2021, Villy has served on the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Industrial Property Organization (OBI), the Greek IPO.

Villy was introduced to the world of intellectual property at an early age. While studying law, she began working at an IP law firm, focusing on trademark prosecution matters and customs seizures. As an attorney at that firm, she specialized in anti-counterfeiting cases, representing significant international clients before criminal courts and local enforcement authorities.

Currently, Villy primarily develops brand protection strategies and manages EU Trademark (EUTM) and international filing, prosecution, and litigation cases. She oversees the international trademark portfolios of major domestic clients and handles anti-counterfeiting cases, consulting for and representing international clients. She is also frequently involved in drafting legal opinions on various aspects of intellectual property.
