Carpmaels & Ransford
David Wilson is the latest patent litigator to be hired by Carpmaels & Ransford, one of the leading firms of patent attorneys in the UK. Wilson, who is listed as an IP Star (2015), is renowned for advising clients in the life sciences and chemical industries. He will be joining as partner from Herbert Smith Freehills. Other lawyers also expected to join Carpmaels & Ransford’s growing dispute resolution team are Jake Marshall, an IP transactions lawyer from Arnold & Porter, and Jennifer Antcliff, an IP litigation counsel from Actavis (now Allergan).

Clyde & Co
Clyde & Co has further strengthened its UK IP practice with the arrival of IP litigation specialist Ralph Cox as partner. Cox is particularly known for handling patent disputes, particularly in the life sciences sector. He will work alongside David Wilkinson who was recruited last year to lead the practice. Cox was previously a partner at Fasken Martineau and Bristows.

Fieldfisher
Fieldfisher has hired three partners from Rouse Legal’s dispute resolution team: Diana Sternfeld, Nicole Jadeja and Rebecca Baines. All three practitioners are widely recognised for their experience in life sciences patent litigation. Sternfeld is listed as an IP Star (2015).
