To what extent can the press reproduce and use texts published on social media without the author's consent? This question lies at the heart of a case brought before the Court of Justice of the European Union ("CJEU"), following a request for a preliminary ruling submitted by the High Court of Cassation and Justice ("HCCJ" or "High Court") in September 2024.
