For over three decades, Adduci, Mastriani & Schaumberg was highly recommended for its expertise in ITC and trade law work, especially Section 337 investigations. The DC-based firm was also recognised for patent litigation. Name partner Tom Schaumberg left the firm in 2022, a move which made the firm rebrand as AMS Trade. A team of lawyers including partners Deanna Tanner Okun, Louis S Mastriani, Daniel F Smith, Lauren E Peterson and Lydia C Pardini left the firm in January 2023. At the time of writing, founding partner V James Adduci II was not featured on the firm's website.

Case studies show the firm acted for Qualcomm and LG Chem in ITC disputes. Patent clients include Cisco, Converse, Dynamics, HyperIce, Kyocera Senco, Lashify, OSRAM and Technicolor Connected Home.
