Life sciences patent lawyer Lisa Haile and trade mark specialists Keith Medansky and Ann Ford are among the leaders in the firm. Medansky leads the firm's IP practice in Chicago.

Global co-chair and US chair of IP John Allcock retired in 2019 while computer technology patent litigator Dale Lazar retired in 2020. In 2023, the firm hired 30 patent practitioners including partners Peter Yim, Christopher Eide, Brian Ho, Randy Omid, Michael Swett and Parker Kuhl from a rival firm. Former China IP practice leader William “Skip” Fisher left the firm in 2023.
