Partners Gloria Lu and Dennis Huang have acted for Sony Taiwan and successfully defended civil litigation from a patentee.

Lu and Huang also represent Fox Factory, a US company, in filing a patent infringement litigation in Taiwan against two Canadian companies. During this process, the firm is working closely with Fox’s US counsel and studied decisions rendered by German courts, as the German counterpart of the patent was also reviewed in Germany. The Taiwanese court has rendered a second instance judgment dismissing all of the opposing party’s claims and its appeal.

Partner Ruey-Sen Tsai represented Apple and filed an opposition against Ora’s trade mark with the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) in Taiwan. The team also successfully represented Apple in filing an administrative litigation with the Taiwan’s Intellectual Property Court after the Taiwan Intellectual Property Office rejected Apple’s opposition.
