Clients rely on Caitlin Byczko for her substantial experience before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and creative approach to trademark prosecution matters. A dedicated advocate, Caitlin is known for her straightforward and direct counsel as it relates to even the most complex legal issues.

Caitlin is a member of the Intellectual Property Department, where she develops and executes global brand strategies for creating, protecting, and enforcing intellectual property assets, including trademarks, copyrights, domain names and unique digital properties. She regularly enforces and defends intellectual property rights before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and in federal courts throughout the country. Caitlin’s clients praise her dual trademark counseling and litigation acuity that assists her in developing creative strategies to both brand creation and protection.

Caitlin manages the daily intellectual property demands of a diverse client base, from startup and emerging companies to global Fortune 500 companies. Her clients come from a variety of industries, including retail, fashion, technology, venture capital, and pharmaceuticals.

She returned to the firm after serving as a trademark clerk in the Indianapolis office during law school. She also gained experience as a law clerk in enforcement division and office of legal affairs for the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) and the general counsel's office at an Indianapolis-based technology company.

Active in the health and fitness community, Caitlin is a longstanding member and coach at Myriad Health + Fitness (formerly NapTown Fitness). She holds both a CrossFit Level 1 Certificate and a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Certificate.
