Dominik is a German and European Patent Attorney and partner at df-mp.
His practice focuses on contentious proceedings that involve complex information technology such as mobile communications. He is known for having pled prominent SEP cases before the German patent infringement courts at trial and appellate level, in opposition proceedings before the EPO, and in nullity actions before the German Patent Court and the Federal Supreme Court.
With his experience in contentious proceedings, Dominik assists his clients with drafting, prosecuting, and assessing patent applications in various fields such as database technology, video coding, cryptography, and nanobiotechnology.
Dominik has studied physics at Heidelberg University and at Cornell University. He is a Heidelberg-Cornell Exchange Scholar, a Fulbright Scholar, and an alumnus of the Bavarian Elite Network. He has received his doctorate degree from LMU Munich for his work in the field of nanobiotechnology.
