Irene holds a MSc. in Chemical Engineering (UPM, 2012), a MSc. in Nanotechnology (UAM, 2013) and a Ph.D. in Biophysics (UAM, 2017). With 8+ years of experience as a researcher, she has been working as patent engineer at TRBL Intellectual Property since October 2020. Currently, she is on the path to becoming a European patent attorney.
Irene provides personalized assistance to companies, research organizations and individuals in the protection of their inventions. Among her duties are drafting patent applications, patentability and infringement reports, and communications in response to office actions and opinions of the EPO and the SPTO.
Her areas of technical expertise include mainly: chemical and industrial engineering, nanotechnology, single-molecule biophysics, microfluidics, chemistry, biochemistry, materials science and renewable energies.
