Paul Andre

Paul J. Andre litigates intellectual property disputes involving complex technology, with a particular emphasis on the life sciences, computer science and the electrical arts.

Paul both represents patent owners seeking to enforce their rights and defends companies against allegations of infringement. Admitted to federal courts in more than 30 states, he has handled more than 100 patent trials and litigations throughout the country. Paul also counsels clients from a variety of technology-related industries on intellectual property issues, trade secret protection and other commercial matters.

• Secured a $151.5 million verdict for Centripetal Networks Inc. in a patent infringement trial in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
• Represented a computer network security company asserting patent infringement in the Eastern District of Virginia, resulting in a judgment of over $2 billion in damages.
• Represented a cybersecurity company at a jury trial involving six of its core patents.
