Philippe is a European Patent Attorney, a Luxembourg Patent Attorney, and qualified to practice before the French Patent Office (INPI). He is also registered with the Unified Patent Court.

He joined the firm in 1998 after earning his engineering degree in materials science from the Institute of Science and Technology in Grenoble, France (Polytech' Grenoble).

With extensive experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications across Europe (EPO and national offices) and worldwide, Philippe works across diverse technical fields: automotive (fuel systems and control), materials (ironmaking, semiconductors, electrolysis, surface treatments), sensor techniques, medical imaging, software...

He regularly represents clients in opposition and appeal cases before the European Patent Office and provides support in patent litigation. Additionally, he drafts and negotiates patent-related contracts.

In 2014, Philippe earned the University Diploma in Patent Litigation in Europe from CEIPI (University of Strasbourg, France) to deepen his expertise in the new Unitary Patent system.

Alongside his advisory work, Philippe is a regular lecturer at EEIGM (Engineering School) and the Faculty of Law in Nancy, France (M2 course). He is also the author of the Luxembourg Chapter in the “Manual on Intellectual Property” (Brown Book) published by Kluwer Law International and serves on the Scientific Committee of the law journal “PIN CODE” (pin-code.eu), published by Legitech.
