Beth’s broad patent experience enables her to specialise in several different technology areas, including renewable energy, oil and gas (including downhole tools, wellbore cleaning, risers and valves), marine equipment, medical devices and extended reality.
Beth’s practice involves patent drafting and prosecution across many jurisdictions, with a focus on the UK, US, Europe, China and Japan.
After graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Physical Science, Beth undertook a PhD in Systems Biology at the University of Aberdeen. Her research involved using the principles of statistical mechanics to develop mathematical models and simulations of messenger RNA in budding yeast.
