Louise Christina Thorning Ahle is a key member of our trademark team, contributing with her in depth expertise in intellectual property, particularly in trademark and design law.

She holds a law degree from the University of Copenhagen and has built a solid career over 
more than twenty years, with experience from the Danish Patent and Trademark Office, the 
European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), as well as several renowned law firms and 
IP consultancies.

With her professional background and strategic approach, Louise serves as a trusted advisor to 
international corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises, and ambitious start-ups alike. 
She has a unique ability to understand each client’s business context and works with a clear 
focus on market positioning, growth potential, and specific challenges. The result is tailored IP 
strategies that deliver genuine value and safeguard clients’ rights in a competitive marketplace.

In addition to her client work, Louise has lectured on IP law and delivered professional 
presentations both in Denmark and internationally. She is co-author of the book “Trademark 
Protection in the European Union from a Scandinavian Perspective” (Thomson Reuters) and 
regularly contributes with articles and commentary to respected industry publications such as the 
European Intellectual Property Review and the Kluwer Trademark Blog.

Louise is fluent in Danish and English and has knowledge of German and Spanish.
